New ONA Church in State College, PA

Congratulations to Faith United Church of Christ, in State College, Pennsylvania, where the congregation voted on October 5, to become the sixth Open and Affirming church of the Penn Central Conference. In taking this action, Faith Church was affirming its long-standing history of inclusive ministry in the State College community. Even so, the church followed a conscientious process of study and reflection that involved members in many opportunities for learning, comment and mutual listening over a period of several years. The Rev. Dr. Diane Prosser is the pastor of Faith Church.
